The perfect candidate should excel in navigating the startup landscape, leading operations through a phase funded by Innovate UK to the fundraising phase.
As our Head of Operations, you will step into a dynamic startup environment with a mandate to streamline operations and systematically incorporate innovative AI tools throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct the operational strategy and its implementation to align with project milestones and organizational objectives.
- Drive the systematic integration of AI tools like ChatGPT at all organizational levels to improve decision-making and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO/Creative Director and Head of Organizational Development for seamless coordination across all project elements.
- Supervise financial processes such as bookkeeping, accounting, tax obligations, VAT, and SEIS registration to ensure compliance and punctual submissions.
- Participate in the coordination of game development processes, introducing agile methodologies where feasible to enhance project management efficiency.
- Partake in budgeting and financial planning, aiding the transition to the fundraising phase of the project.
- Demonstrated experience in operations management within a startup or technology-focused environment, with a proven history of navigating fundraising phases.
- Skilled in utilizing and integrating AI tools, particularly ChatGPT, to streamline operations and decision-making.
- Outstanding communication, coordination, and project management aptitudes.
- Based in the UK, preferably in or around London.
- Ability to thrive in independent and collaborative settings, adjusting to the project's changing requirements.
