Fibre Optic Cabler

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a motivated Multiskilled Fibre Optic Cabler to join our team.


As a Telecom Engineer at FTTx Resources, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our Clients' telecommunications network.

You will be responsible for installing fibre optics cables underground and overhead, and related equipment. Your expertise will be vital in delivering seamless connectivity.

Requirements:


OH & UG cabling experience to PIA network standards - must have at least one year experience as a cabler in a network build environment.


Have the required accreditations:

  • SA001, SA002, NRSWA must have
  • S007/N26, S008/N27, Tetra, S00 desirable
  • S005, S00 nice to have.
  • Fibreblowing experience is a must.
  • Test rod & rooping.
  • Subducting
  • Experience in producing up to standards A55s & the ability to read Network drawings & SLDs, consult and update Network GIS.
  • NOPS card required.
  • Positive, cando attitude
  • Driving license required

Job details:

  • Selfemployed position with a flat day rate.
  • 8 hours Day shifts or Night Shifts (OOH) with an uplift.
  • Overtime at weekends may be offered.
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
