£21,733 per annum plus £6,200 for London weighting
Here at Serco we're looking for a Custodial Escort Officer to join our team at HMP Thameside a London based, Category B prison.
The key purpose of this role is to enable contractors to perform tasks within the establishment in a safe and secure manner, compiling tool lists and ensuring the safety and security of both.
Additionally, they will assist in multi trade support of other members of the FM team in completing related routine maintenance and repairs but within the capabilities of their ability, experience and training.
The post holder is responsible for the external areas, to carry out regular inspections to ensure they are kept free from litter and are clean and presentable.
What you need to do the job:
This is an opportunity for an individual who has proven experience of working within a fast-paced environment. Experience working in a custodial environment is desirable but not essential.
Additionally, they must be able to work well within a team and individually where required.
