Your new role

Working throughout the entire construction business on projects ranging from £100k to £10m, the Estimator will work with the bid team to manage a continuous pipeline of opportunities and oversee making sure accurate nett cost estimates and strong commercialsubmissions are in place for each bid.

You will take responsibility for the commercial and contractual aspects of the submission to ensure risk is properly assessed.

They will collaborate with the Bid Manager/Project Manager to assemble and coordinate a bidteam with the necessary expertise to prepare an accurate and robust bid.

You will oversee the bid from the tender stage to the contract award, taking overall responsibility for the commercial submission, and ensure a strong commercial handover to the deliveryteam.

The capacity to work under pressure and ability to meet deadlines is necessary for this position. Strong managerial and technical skills will be necessary.
What you'll need to succeed

You must be able to demonstrate that you have the capability to estimate and win refurbishments and new build projects between a cost of £100k - £10m.

Desired minimum 5 years' experience Experience of different contracting forms - NEC/JCT Technical constructionknowledge Clear and strong communication skills Plan efficiently and keep to time management with deadlines Full UK driving licence
