We are seeking to engage a Vice Chair of the Corporation Board as a strategic lead starting April 2024 and preparing for the role of Chair starting June 2025.


We are seeking an experienced strategic leader from the local area to support the college in its vision to provide high-quality education and bright futures for our learners.

This is an exciting time for the college as we expand into our new town centre campus and update our existing estate.

Our ambitions are to improve the quality of our provision and continue supporting our students, employers, and local communities.

Our new Vice Chair will provide outstanding support for our existing Chair and leadership to our board in facilitating the college's ambition.

The Role:

The new Vice Chair will be an experienced leader with a proven record of strategic capacity.

You will be a leader who is committed to ensuring our student experience is at the heart of the college.


The new Vice Chair must share our values and be committed to supporting the college in its central role within the town and the region.

In order to attend meetings and oversee governance, you will need to commit 3-4 days a month to the role.

To ensure continuity, all board members are asked to commit to a 4-year term of office in the first instance.
