Actuarial Consultant - GMP at Capita Pension Solutions

You have the opportunity to help shape better services as an Actuarial Consultant specializing in GMP at Capita Pension Solutions. Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provides high-quality actuarial work to the Actuarial & Investment Practice from within the Actuarial & Investment Technical Centre
  • Producing and checking technical calculations and draft client advice for Scheme Actuaries in connection with all areas of funding and risk, including Section 179 actuarial valuations, individual calculations (where relevant), and coding of actuarial software for pension benefit calculations
  • Works with AITC Team Leader/Manager to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Conducts research, development, and special projects as required by managers

Experience, qualifications, and key skills

  • Full or part-qualified Actuary or qualified by experience
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the pensions industry
  • Ability to produce and check actuarial work to a high standard
  • Proactive and collaborative mindset
  • Experience with PFaroe software
