Teacher of MFL (offering Spanish for KS3—KS5 and preferably with the ability to teach French up to KS4)

If you are an ambitious and enthusiastic Teacher of MFL, we have a truly exciting opportunity to join a successful school and MFL department which offers excellent career development. We are looking for a Teacher of MFL to join us from September 2024 who can offer Spanish from KS3 up to KS5 and also French up to KS4. The department is led by a highly experienced MFL practitioner and you will be joining a very supportive and friendly team who strive to share their love of languages with students.

All our students will study one language in Key Stage 3 and the vast majority will study one language as part of their GCSE pathway. MFL is an exciting, developing and innovative department and you will be able to support the department on various trips to France and Spain, and various enrichment activities throughout the year.

The school is happy to receive applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs in addition to overseas teachers with a formal teaching qualification and QTS, however we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player, with determination to inspire and motivate students to develop a passion for languages. They will be dynamic, emotionally intelligent and sympathetic to the school's Catholic ethos and the values of St Simon Stock Catholic School.
