What you'll do on a typical day:
- Review stock and operational activities within the warehouses; make decisions regarding these based on area performance monitoring and evaluations against key performance indicators
- High level of stock responsibility, investigate product specifications, correct product codes, cycle counts, and auditing
- Communicate with all levels of colleagues, the customer team and management from National Highways, engineers and project sponsor based at the maintenance depots
- Ensure IT warehouse system is maintained and ensure all data is accurate and up to date
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Strong IT, organisational and administration skills are essential as the role involves a high degree of systems interaction and stock accuracy
- Experience of working with computer packages including stock management systems, Oracle WMS experience is desired but not essential, training will be provided
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Full, clean driving license is required, holiday cover at different regional store depots across UK will be required as part of the job
