We pride ourselves on our professionalism and attention to detail, and we are currently looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our team.

This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of works and consistent customer service from start to finish.

You will oversee the operational aspects of our jobs and the day to day running.

The Operations Supervisor will play a critical role in managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our facilities management services.

This position involves overseeing the operational activities, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for authorising employee hours, planning ahead for staffing needs, scheduling, and other related tasks to ensure smooth and efficient facility management operations on a day to day basis.

You will play a key role in problem-solving and decision-making on site, ensuring client satisfaction and event success.

Responsibilities:

Daily Operations Management:

  • Oversee and facilitate daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during events quickly and effectively.

Employee Supervision:

  • Authorise and verify employee hours and attendance records.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and provide training as needed.

Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop and implement weekly and monthly schedules for staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
  • Plan ahead for staffing needs based on projected workloads and upcoming projects.

Resource Management:

  • Ensure the availability and proper utilisation of resources, including equipment, supplies, and materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with standards.
  • Address and resolve any issues or complaints from clients promptly and effectively.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high service standards.

Health and Safety:

  • Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for staff.
  • Investigate and report any incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of operations, including schedules, attendance, and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to the Operations Manager on the status of operations, issues, and improvements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations, preferably as a supervisor.
  • You must have a clean valid UK driving license for this role.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage day to day tasks.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. This is key for this operational role.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and under pressure.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and resilience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach and a keen eye for improving operational efficiency.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay:
£14.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
