Role: Housing Officer

Salary: £19.38 ph

Location: Brent/Harrow

3 month contract to start (possibility of going perm after this)

We are recruiting on belhalf of one of of the top Housing associations in London for the role of Housing officer, you will be the main point of contact for residents within the designated area patch . The duties encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth operation and satisfaction of residents. Such as Housing management, Conflict resolution, Compliance and risk management, Legal casework. Therefore, this role is extremely varied meaning no two days are the same, which brings new experiences and learning opportunities, and develops your problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining relationships with residents underpins all activities - on your average week this may include:

  • Reviewing rent accounts
  • Undertaking ASB interviews and agreeing action plans
  • Taking back empty properties, advertising and re letting
  • Mould and damp inspections
  • Visits to residents homes
  • Working in collaboration with other departments to resolve issues for residents
  • Liaising with external stakeholders on specific cases e.g. Councils, MP s, Social Services etc.
  • Estate inspections
  • Managing repairs
  • Setting up resident accounts

Skills:

  • Prior housing/property management experience
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • IT proficiency and adaptability to on-site operations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Ambitious, innovative, and self motivated
