Elevation Accountancy and Finance is partnering with a fantastic company in Chapeltown, Sheffield. They are seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their team full time on a permanent basis.

  • Communicate with customers (internal & external) to follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any queries promptly
  • Conduct credit risk assessments by analyzing the credit of both existing and new customers
  • Create manual billing documents including reimbursement invoices and rebates
  • Support the monthly accounting closing process within specified deadlines
  • Assist in implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for ongoing use
  • Investigate delinquent accounts and collaborate with customers to address payment issues
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable Supervisor to enhance problem resolution

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable / Credit Control
  • Sound knowledge of Sales Ledger
  • Attentive to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Deadline-oriented with excellent communication abilities
