About the Role
:
Are you an experienced Human Resources Assistant? This is an exciting opportunity to join our HR Business Partnering Team supporting colleagues in our Academic Schools
:
You will have a proven track record of working within a fast-paced and busy HR department and will provide a proactive, customer focused, effective and value-added HR support service. You'll be able to work logically and proactively, and be capable of managing a high volume of varied activities
:
You'll be able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels in order to develop professional, effective working relationships
:
The role is varied and interesting, and will involve you advising our managers and employees on a variety of HR matters, including
:
- Maternity and paternity provisions
- HR policies, including flexible working and probation
- Contract management
- Employee relations (including supporting casework as a notetaker)
- Project work opportunities
- Fixedterm contracts and redundancies
- Data compliance
- Immigration & visa sponsorship
You will also be responsible for the administration of the above and will have the opportunity to support the HR team in a wider range of generalist activities and projects.
