We are offering an exciting opportunity to start your rotation working with our multidisciplinary team providing excellent service for Triage, Day Assessment Unit (Bristol and Weston), Antenatal Clinic, and our major tertiary Fetal Medicine Unit for the Southwest which provides specialist care for women and their babies.

We are delighted that we can offer rotational posts, giving you the opportunity to work as part of our team on the Ante/Postnatal Ward, Central Delivery Suite, Midwifery Led Units & our Transitional Care Unit.

We have a fabulous co-located Midwifery Led Unit at St Michael's Hospital and a Midwifery Led Unit at our Weston Hospital.

Here, we provide exceptional care for low risk women. In addition, we have a several well established Community Midwifery Teams that support low risk women at home.

In addition, our rotational posts include the opportunity to work within the traditional community midwifery model across University Hospitals Bristol & Weston community settings or within one of our established Continuity of Carer teams.

Be able to work with the multidisciplinary team to provide care for Triage, Day Assessment Unit, Antenatal Clinic, and Fetal Medicine Unit.

Be flexible with a caring attitude, rotating throughout the maternity departments and to be a part of the on-call service we provide.

Be able to develop their clinical skills and participate in continuing their professional development.

Have the ability to take the lead when caring for women and their babies, identifying any deterioration from normal and escalating appropriately.

In addition, our rotational posts include the opportunity to work within the traditional community midwifery model across University Hospitals Bristol & Weston community settings or within one of our established Continuity of Carer teams.
