We are exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager to join our client who are a highly successful medium sized business who are a market leader in their niche, based in Redhill with free parking.

Based in their modern offices, you will manage a medium sizeteam who are responsible for the accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control for the business.


Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the financialaccounting function in addition to working closely with the other departments as a liaison point and business partner.

Accuracy is key along withthe training and development of your team, therefore previous staff management and mentoring is essential.

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with month end and year end accounting
  • Assisting in the production of Monthly Management Reports, highlighting variance from budget/ forecasts and commentary to support the findings
  • Overseeing the monthly BACS payments and maintaining accurate records
  • Overseeing all reconciliations of Bank and Customer statements
  • Financial accounting
  • Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Responsible for ensuring the collections are within target
  • Monitoring and maintaining company expenses, reducing overheads where necessary
  • Plus additional adhoc responsibilities as required from senior management
  • A full accountancy qualification
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Qualified by Experience
  • Keen to get 'hands dirty' and 'go the extra mile' in daily duties
  • Previous Financial Controller or Finance Manager experience
  • Previous staff management experience, looking after a minimum of 4 staff
  • Commercial experience
  • Clear communicator, able to liaise with finance and nonfinance personnel
  • Strong IT skills, including good Excel
