We are on the lookout for an experienced Fibre Cabler to work across the Cityfibre contract in Bath


The Cabling/Test Rod & Rope engineer's main responsibility will be to test rod and rope, and install cables, sub ducts both underground and overhead.


  • Test Rod & Roping
  • Proving the PIA network
  • Pull in sub duct & cable in PIA & Swish networks UG & O/H
- locating blockages & updating required systems with box to box

  • Producing A55s Requirements:
  • Experience of Test Rod & Roping / cabling the Openreach network
  • PIA network experience
  • Installation of cables, sub duct UG & OH
  • Installation of fibre nodes UG & OH
  • Locate blockages and establish clear routes
  • Produce A55's in consultation with the main Surveyor
  • Completion and submission of all necessary documentation

Experience & Skills required:

  • Full Driving License that permits you to drive a vehicle in the UK
  • Hold a valid NRSWA street works operative unit 2 card
  • Confident at working at heights and underground network
  • Cabling Experience
