We are on the lookout for a skilled solicitor to become part of our client's team of Commercial Professional Support Lawyers (PSL).

Description of the Role:

  • Collaborate with partners, lawyers, and other PSLs under the guidance of your Commercial Team Leader.
  • Work closely with the firmwide Knowledge, Learning & Development (KLD) team.
  • Provide legal support through training, updates, briefings, technical advice, and managing know-how.
  • Support business development projects and occasional travel between regional offices.

Key Areas of Focus:

  • Commercial contract law
  • Outsourcing
  • Projects and public-private partnerships
  • Information law, data protection, and privacy
  • Information technology

Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated on legal developments and share knowledge with the team.
  • Conduct internal and client training sessions.
  • Provide advice and support on client work.
  • Enhance the firm's profile through knowledge content.
  • Collaborate with PSLs and the KLD team on learning initiatives.

Experience Required:

  • At least 7 years' post-qualification experience as a Commercial lawyer.
  • Applications accepted from existing PSLs, fee earners entering PSL roles, and individuals with a strong knowledge-sharing background.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong legal technical skills
  • Commitment to thought leadership and knowledge management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing abilities
  • Proficiency in IT and new technologies
  • Adaptability and a thirst for learning
