The Job:

  • Helping with washing and dressing
  • Assisting with feeding and mealtimes
  • Discovering and knowing residents' interests and needs.
  • General housekeeping such as tidying residents' private bedrooms and communal areas
  • Supporting each resident's physical and mental wellbeing through activities.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of care home or home care procedures and practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Understanding of care plans and ability to follow them accurately


Our client provides 24-hour care, day care shifts are worked from 8am until 8pm, and night-time shifts are from 8pm until 8am.

Typical Shift patterns for Day Shift Contracts

  • 8am until 8pm
  • 8am until 2pm
  • 2pm until 8pm
Night Shift Contracts

  • 8pm until 8am
