Harmonic is delighted to be working exclusively with a highly acquisitive and entrepreneurial media business in their search for a Royalty Accountant.


The Company:


The business is led by a talented CEO who is keen to grow and expand the business, which currently has a turnover of around £250 million and a team of 140.

Although they are an established and well-funded business they have retained a flat-structure witha dynamic and non-corporate culture.


They work specifically in the television and film sector, partnering with some of the world's leading producers and creators on programming and distribution.

The company operate a flexible approach to hybrid working, with 3 days at home and 2 in the office.

The Role:


As the Royalty Accountant you will be reporting into an experienced Head of Finance who has great experience in developing colleagues.

Your main duties will include, cash forecasting and budgeting, managing relationships with 3rd party producers and creators,answering queries surrounding royalties and royalty reporting.

This is a new position which has come from recent growth due to acquisitions. There are fantastic progression opportunities for future promotions and taking on more FP&A work.

  • Responsible for royalty reporting on a quarterly basis
  • Managing relationships with 3rd party producers & organisations
  • Cash forecasting and budgeting future royalty payments
  • Coordinating and managing invoices from clients
  • Providing adhoc analysis

What we need to see (essential):

  • Experience with royalty accounting/royalty processing
  • Prior experience in a royalty position within TV & Film, Publishing, Media or Music.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Good Excel skills

  • Experience working on outgoing royalties in TV & Film
