The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving the business forward, exploring new markets, and expanding internationally.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Managing Director to provide strategic leadership and hands-on guidance across all areas of the company's operations. Responsibilities include managing sourcing, manufacturing, business development, financial control, and ensuring overall efficiency within the organization.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Managing Director position, with a background in both large and SME manufacturing settings.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on nurturing existing customer relationships and exploring opportunities in new markets.
- Proven financial expertise in optimizing cash flow and profitability, aligned with the organization's goals.
- Effective people management skills to empower team members and drive succession planning.
- Prior experience in timber or agricultural supply chain industries is desirable.
- Ability to collaborate with the Group to drive sustainable growth and performance.
