FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative

Based in Smethwick

Monday to Friday - 8.00am till 5.00pm

£ £12.50 per hour)

Temporary to Permanent contract

Steel experience is an essential requirement for this role
A perfect opportunity for a hands-on, ambitious hard worker to join a small team of industrial professionals

Main duties of the role will include;

Booking stock in and out of the warehouse.
Picking and packing items ready for dispatch.
Working as part of a small warehouse team, interacting, and helping where necessary.
Updating the in house system (simple IT knowledge required) with order and stock information.
Operating the Counterbalance FLT truck to move stock around the warehouse.
Flexibility around your daily routine will be essential - Teamwork requiredThe successful candidate will have;

My client can teach the skill, but they cannot teach attitude therefore someone who possesses a good outlook to work is the most important over all else

Basic IT knowledge is required.
Counterbalance FLT Licence is required.
Warehouse experience is essential.
Must have a 'can do' attitude, be willing to learn and integrate well within a small team structure.
Excellent communication skills, confident in own ability.
Good organisational skills.
