We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of a Personal Advisor, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £ £24.54 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with the young person, carers, and other professionals to assess the young person needs and undertake actions to address need.
- Manage the caseload as directed and organise and plan work activities prioritising tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide written and verbal reports, which are concise, informative and based on analysis of complex evidence.
- Contribute to the drawing up, implementing and reviewing of the young person plan.
- Work with key professionals from the department and externally to offer advice and implement pathway plans
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the health, education, training and work experience needs of young people and how these can be met.
- Experience of working directly with vulnerable children or young people, in a professional or voluntary capacity.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an enhanced DBS
