Based in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen you will provide a materials management service to the company ensuring materials and equipment are in the right place at the right time.


_ This is a hands-on role which includes heavy manual handling duties._

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • This list does not represent an exhaustive list but indicates the main responsibilities the post holder will be_ required to undertake_:
  • Responsible for Goods Receipt & Despatch, equipment checks of all materials entering / leaving yard / warehouse.
  • Responsible for Inputting material receipts and manifest details to materials management system.
  • Responsible for stock taking activities logging stock levels and advising supervisor of discrepancies.
  • Maintains good housekeeping in storage areas and ensure materials and products are stored in an organised and safe manner.
  • Carry out daily / weekly / monthly checks on vehicle in line with company procedures.
  • Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines, changing priorities when the situation requires.
  • Carry out work in accordance with 1st Integrated Solutions operating procedures and statutory/client specifications and requirements.

Qualification & Experience

_ Essential:
_

  • Previous experience within a similar role
**_

Preferred:
_**- Forklift Licence (B2 / up to 8tonne)

  • Working knowledge of InspHire or similar Asset Management system
  • Dangerous Goods by Sea / Road
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Container Packing Training

Personal Skills & Qualities:

  • Team player and ability to work independently.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • Safety conscious
  • Ability to handle heavy items (up to 20kg)
  • Good level of accuracy
  • Ability to work in a highpressured environment.
