About the business unit

The Buildings and Cities Unit (BNC) has a major presence in Mott MacDonald's regional offices throughout the UK and mainland Europe, providing a wide range of diverse and transferable cross-sector skills across five key Sectors; Advisory, Built Environment, Energy, Transportation and Water.

We also provide local services to customers and technical leadership to the rest of the Group in these sectors.

  • This is a key position that would see you devising and delivering a full range of marketing activity from events to social media and thought leadership. You'll work closely with senior internal stakeholders and the marketing team to ensure plans are aligned and coordinated.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identifying the marketing and communications opportunity and developing an annual plan aligned to the strategic direction in Ireland.
  • Ensuring effective planning, organisation and management of marketing and communications activities including thought leadership content, campaigns, news flow, events, awards, collateral, and social media.
  • Enhancing the profile and visibility of Mott MacDonald in Ireland, in alignment with the overall Mott MacDonald brand.
  • Creating highquality written and visual content for use across Mott MacDonald channels.
  • Collaborating with the wider team in Ireland and the Unit marketing team.
  • Creating a monthly report to monitor and evaluate the marketing and communications activity.
  • Internal communications linked to the annual plan.
We're looking for an individual with experience in setting and delivering the marketing and communication plan for a growing business, able to demonstrate a successful track record in:

  • Developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies and plans
  • ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Working with a fullservice marketing team, delivering a cohesive suite of marketing and communication activities that enhance brand and drive growth
  • Collaborating and engaging with business stakeholders at all levels
  • Working within and championing an established corporate brand
  • Effectively managing competing priorities and working with diverse stakeholders
