Financial planning and reporting analyst

We are looking to add a talented and driven Analyst to the Financial Planning & Analysis team . FP&A is responsible for setting and coordinating short and long term planning cycles and helping the company achieve its growth and efficiency objectives.

Our ultimate goal is to make cities for people, not cars, and we need your help to achieve this mission About the role FP&A Analyst plays a key role in supporting Bolt's continued growth by monitoring operational and financial KPIs across the business and conducting monthly analysis to provide insights to senior management, as well as assisting in the preparation, maintenance and validation of budgets and forecasts. The role will offer exposure to Bolt on a global scale, closely engaging with a variety of stakeholders across the business. Main tasks and responsibilities :
  • Building a solid understanding of Bolt's key operating and financial metrics
  • Conducting analysis comparing business performance to forecasts, developing a strong understanding of any variance in operational performance and being able to provide valuable insights to senior management
  • Developing strong relationships with stakeholders across the business in order to be able to analyse, interpret and explain performance
  • Supporting the creation of quarterly, annual and long-term budget updates that are used in monthly and annual performance analysis
  • Supporting the company in maintaining and adjusting the budget template, providing guidance and validating the accuracy and completeness of the created budgets
About you:
  • You have 2+ years experience that includes working in an FP&A function or corporate finance in an accountancy firm.
  • You have strong analytical skills via excel / google sheets.
  • You have a commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • You have an ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • You have a strong knowledge of a financial planning tool would be an advantage.
