About the role:

nEnsure all planned Preventative Maintenance schedules are completed within agreed timescale to a high standard.nCarry out repairs/maintenance tasks, with a first-time fix approach.nLiaise with Engineering Manager on a shift basis to ensure all PPM schedules and any outstanding tasks set out by the Engineering Manager are completed within agreed timescale.nIdentify problematic faults, rectify and monitor performance on a continual basisnComplete manufacturing/production line tasks as requested or identified and record /report activities and or actions in appropriate databases or related systems.nAccountable for the performance of the automated warehouse equipment.

AMR, ASRS and sorters etc.nWork closely with engineering team Management, Launch and Operational teams as part of the of new solutions development process.nSupports the presenting of technical improvements to customers through proposals, conference calls and presentations in conjunction with account management.nActively support and when required lead the delivery of the engineering solution at project launch including the creation of master data, process validation, infrastructure works and onsite contractor managementnBe a SME (subject matter expert) on engineering processes, tools and techniques including MTM, AutoCAD, SketchUp & excel.nComplete new MTM / MOST process assessments or update existing processes as requirednAct as interface between regional function and all other areas of the business as required.nEnsure engineering function is aligned with operations team and other support functions.nBe able to translate high level operational briefs / objectives in to defined solution proposal and progress and deploy into the live operation.


Your key Skills:

nProven background within Maintenance Engineering (Electrical and Mechanical - 30/70 basis)nProven experience of sole work on automated warehouse equipmentnLean and Six Sigma practitionernAbility to communicate effectively across all levels.nAbility to empathise and understand client's viewpoint and requirements and act as their champion within engineering function.nAbility to interpret data and derive solid conclusions from analysis.nStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and familiarity with common formulas), Word, Visio or equivalent, and Project Management software are required.

Proficient in using AutoCAD to design functional workings of solutions in 3D and 2D formats
