Opportunity is for:An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Outpatients for a Plaster Technician.
You will be employed as a Band 4 if you currently hold the "British Casting Certificate". If you do not hold this you will start as a Band 3 until completion of the "British Casting Certificate".
The post holder will work within the multi disciplinary team implementing care for outpatients and in-patients as required. The post holder will work predominantly in the plaster room carrying out procedures including applying and removing plasters, simple wound assessment and dressings, also assist in the clinic as work load dictates.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will be expected to work within a specific clinical area of Orthopedics.Under supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse assist in delivery of the safe, high-quality care to all patientsMaintaining adequate stock levels. Maintaining a clean environment.Working for our organisation
