We are looking for some friendly faces to join Millar and McGowan pharmacy to serve at the healthcare counter.

Patient-centred care is at the heart of our day to day work and we are looking for pharmacy assistants to join our team full time and part time.

As a pharmacy assistant you will be interacting with patients daily to give them advice on over the counter medicines and treatments for common minor ailments and supporting patients in ordering their repeat medication, as well as safely handing out finished prescription to patients.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Pharmacy Assisstant responsibilities include:

  • Managing over the counter medicine stock
  • Using the till/handling money
  • Giving advice on minor conditions and referring to the pharmacist where appropriate
  • Maintaining the front shop, stock rotation and management
  • Colleting repeat prescriptions from the local health centre
We are looking for someone to join the team working Tuesday-Friday and alternate Saturdays. We are also looking for someone on a part time basis on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Desirable skills:

  • Customer service experience
  • Good interpersonal skills
