Join a leading steel fabrication specialist business, working in Project Management, Design, Fabrication, and Erection across various industries. We're located in Thirsk and looking for a QA/QC Engineer to join our team and be a part of our exciting growth.

This role is perfect for an experienced Quality Engineer with a sharp attention to detail, analytical abilities, and previous involvement in sizable, intricate projects in regulated settings.

  • Requirements:
    • Expertise in Welding, ISO 3834 & EN 1090
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure project inspections and technical standards are fulfilled.
  • Collate and analyze data, assist in audits, and communicate with clients.
  • Apply comprehensive hands-on experience in Quality Management Systems and Principles.
  • Review and approve contract NDT reports for the company.

Experience needed:

  • Proven Quality background in Heavy Fabrication or Nuclear industry.
  • Knowledge of ISO 3834 (welding inspection) and/or EN 1090 is a plus.

Permanent Role:
Salary: circa £40k - £45k (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 45 – 16:45, Monday to Thursday, 7.
