We are looking to expand our Finance team and have created a new part time Credit Control assistant within Simply Thank you.
One of our key aims is to ensure prompt payment for our services and you'll be supporting the business by using your excellent communication skills to ensure we are paid and understand from customers if there are any challenges.
You will build and maintain excellent customer relationships with your excellent customer service skills. You will work alongside the Finance team and other internal departments to ensure we have a ''one team'' ethos.You will also support the Finance Director with any ad-hoc tasks.
Main duties and responsibilities
The role will support the Credit control manager with the following.
Overview of Sales Ledger and periodic invoicing
Overview of Purchase Ledger
Support with month end closing
Posting manual journal
Ledger account reconciliation
Support with internal and external audits
E-mailing of invoices to major clients.
Bank Account posting
Streamline PDQ reconciliation.
Evolve allocations.
Bank and client reconciliations
Contacting clients and customers regarding missing PO's - updating invoices
- Proven track record of both credit control and complex supplier accounts
- Intermediate level competency in MS Excel, Word and accounts packages

IT Skills
This role is part time - 16 hours over 4 days. Times to be discussed.
The position is £ pro rata.
