Head of Quality Assurance (Product)


As the captain of our Quality Assurance team, you'll work hand in hand with our International and Domestic suppliers, forging incredible partnerships.


In this brand new role we've created just for you, you'll join forces with the design, packaging, buying, and compliance teams, forming an unstoppable squad of creativity and innovation.

As the Head of Quality Assurance across Product, you'll lead your team of three Quality Assurance Technician Managers, overseeing their incredible work and making sure it's all smooth sailing.


But wait, there's more Get ready to dive into a treasure trove of product data, unravelling mysteries and uncovering the secrets of quality.

Armed with your expertise, you'll provide advice and assistance to our enthusiastic buying team, ensuring that our products shine brighter than a disco ball.


There may also be opportunity for adventure through visiting our some of our worldwide suppliers - for that personal touch.

Your Mission
As the guardian of legislative and statutory requirements, you'll be the hero ensuring that our company stays on the right side of the law, but remembering to have fun along the way - after all, that's in our DNA

  • Dive into the exciting world of WEEE, PRN purchasing, Plastic Packaging Tax, and EPR for Packaging. It may sound like a mouthful, but with your expert guidance, we'll navigate these regulations with style and finesse. And guess what? You won't be alone in this mission You'll work closely with our Finance team and Sustainability Manager (ESG) to achieve our Scope 3 Supplier Engagement targets, forming an unbeatable trio ready to conquer any compliance challenge.
  • Collate and report all required data, turning it into a thrilling adventure. From gathering information to preparing reports, you'll be the master of turning compliance into an engaging experience.
  • As our Product Compliance Maestro, you'll deliver the intricacies of ensuring our products meet all necessary regulations and safety standards to achieve topnotch quality outcomes.
  • Get ready to inspire, motivate, and rally everyone around the pursuit of excellence. Communication will be your secret weapon as you deliver key messages and present data to stakeholders. Your recommendations for improvements will be the catalyst for positive change, propelling the company towards better quality and compliance.
  • With your detective hat on, you'll review monthly incidents and complaint analysis. As our resident trendspotter and riskbuster, you'll have the exciting task of uncovering patterns, identifying risks, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • You'll ensure that our suppliers meet the highest standards set by BSCI, Cedex, and SMETA.
  • With your team, you'll take charge of data consolidation for testing requirements and reports in alignment with our range launches' critical path. Working closely with crossfunctional teams

Skills that will set you apart

Strong base knowledge: In-depth knowledge of product safety standards, regulations, and directives

Compliance expertise: Experience in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Including conducting audits, developing and implementing compliance programs, and maintaining accurate audit trails.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Experience in coordinating and overseeing product testing, interpreting test results, and implementing corrective actions based on findings.

Ethical Compliance: Understanding of ethical compliance frameworks and experience in developing and implementing ethical sourcing and manufacturing practices. This includes some knowledge of social compliance standards, labour rights, responsible sourcing, and environmental sustainability around Scope 3 supplier engagement and carbon reduction.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication (including written) skills to effectively communicate complex technical and compliance information to stakeholders at various levels. The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.

Audit evaluation:Plan and implement strategies based on audit results.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations for continuous improvement in compliance and safety practices.
