Smokehouse Kitchen Assistant

We are currently on the lookout for a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at our Bare Grills Bristol Smokehouse.


Serving up authentic BBQ, we are looking for someone to assist in the processes of delivering our freshly cooked food.

All of our meat is smoked on site using our big Fast Eddie smoker, and part of your role will be the maintenance, preparation and delivery of our menu.

Our pork and brisket is slow smoked for anything up to 18 hours, our ribs and wings vary from between 3-6 hours, and all of our burgers are hand pressed.


In addiditon to kitchen porter duties, your role will encompass the whole process involved in serving up some damn tasty bbq.

From checking and receiving deliveries, to de-membraning rib, pressing burgers, making BBQ sauce, operating and maintaining the smoker. We will of course offer full training on our menu and methods involved.


Your duties will include keeping the kitchen and its equipment clean and washed up, assisting and working through a daily prep list alongside our chef, assisting with maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and ensuring we are fully compliant with all aspects of food hygiene.
