Mission and Main Objectives:

As Network Services Section Manager within the Nissan AMIEO (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania) IT team, you will manage delivery of Wide Area and Data Centre Network Infrastructures and Services Strategy, Evolution, Performance and Security in line with business needs and technology trends.

Outline and Responsibilities:

Scope covers Nissan AMIEO Wide Area (WAN) and Data Centre Networks and interconnectivity with Nissan Global, Alliance and 3rd party (including Public Cloud) networks. Contribute to roadmap of future network strategy and evolution inline with business needs and technology trends. Deliver Architecture, Design and Implementation of Network Infrastructure, Services and Security, in conjunction with 3rd party providers. Oversee operational performance, capacity, and security of Nissan AMIEO Network in conjunction with 3rd party providers. Control budget and cost related to provision of network services and portfolio of infrastructure evolution. Assure network resilience and redundancy inline with business need, including contribution to disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Responsible for maintenance of repository of documentation relating to network infrastructure and services.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Experience of design, implementation, and operations across main network components as a network engineer. Experience of internet-based WAN technologies (e.g SD WAN) is desirable. Experience of effective communication and influence with key stakeholders relative to provision of network infrastructure and services, and evolution of network strategy (e.g. Security, Purchasing, IT teams....) Able to demonstrate success in managing 3rd parties to achieve required levels of performance, security and cost from network services whilst building strategic partnerships. A relevant degree in related subject is desirable (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology...) but not essential. Appropriate Industry certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCIE, ITIL, PMP...) are desirable but not essential.
