The Key Requirements
- Degree / Masters level, preferably in a related field, e.g. Business, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
- Extensive knowledge of contract law, EU and UK procurement legislation and experience of developing and implementing best value strategies.
- Detailed knowledge of managing ongoing third party, outsourced supply / service contracts.
- First class negotiating skills with experience of working for a fast-paced and diverse matrix organisation with previous experience of procuring manufacturing raw materials, outsourced services and business / corporate services.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ability to provide expert advice to the team and colleagues across the organisation.
