It is a broad role which involves building and maintaining a productive team and working to tight time schedules. Managing and supervising contractors on site
Organising relevant paperwork (work permits etc.)
Organising security and access passes for building access
Review service levels and standards being provided by all contractors
Decorating, general upkeeping and defects reporting
Electrical and plumbing repairs
Fire system checks
Security systems (access control, intruder alarm, CCTV)
Monitoring of building management system
Assisting with office moves
Office porterage & manual handling tasks
Ensuring repairs and remedial work is completed in line with H&S standards and in accordance with relevant work permits
Assisting with the set-up of meeting rooms and associated IT / video conference equipment
Recording of information for inclusion in management reports
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and delivery to the client in a timely fashion
Creating team rotas and ongoing team development and feedback
Carrying out HR functions for the relevant team members (absence / holiday management, recruitment / interviewing, daily briefings, regular 1 to 1s etc.)
Maintaining strong lines of communication with all your team members, Facilities Manager and Account Manager
Supporting on Facilities related projects, including at times travel to other office locations around the country
Any other duties required as requested by the client or assigned by the Facilities Manager or Account Manager
Customer focused, with experience in staff management in a customer service environment
Flexible and dependable, able to take the initiative
Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent telephone manner and competent knowledge of telephone systems
