Due to continuous growth, an opportunity has arisen for a
Part Time HR and Office Assistant based at the group Head Office.


Duties that will be included within this role:

  • Respond to queries from managers and staff, ensuring all queries are dealt with correctly and in line with relevant procedures
  • Maintain employees' records, update documents, manage holiday requests and sick leave through our Focus system
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, manuals, folders, induction, and training documentation
  • Responsible for all HR processes including new starters, leavers, and apprenticeships
  • Draft documentation relating to discipline, grievance, absence, maternity, and any other queries
  • Assist in the management of employee's grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures with Department Managers
  • Review and update all HR policies keeping up to date with legislation
  • To handle inhouse recruitment from the job advertisement to interview and final contracts
  • To greet offsite guests appropriately and as instructed from Company Director
  • Answer telephone calls confidently, directing enquiries as required
  • Update software and online systems (on which full training will be provided)
  • General office duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, data input and sending mailshots
This is a part time position of
4 hours per day.

The hours are flexible to be worked between the hours of 8am and 5pm; to be discussed further at interview stage.


  • Have strong administration and Microsoft Office skills and experience
  • Be confident, proactive and flexible with strong communication skills
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Organise own workload with minimum supervision
  • Enjoy working in a fastpaced environment, able to work well to timescales and deadlines
