Our client is an established North Devon advertising agency with both national and regional clients.

They are looking out for a new Junior Creative Artworker and Designer to work in the studio and under another Designer and Creative Director who will provide mentoring and training.

You will be responsible for delivering creative outputs across the media and channel mix covering brand, digital, banners, animation and print.

This role would suit either a recent Graphic Designer graduate looking for their first role OR someone with a bit more experience in the ad and design agency business and probably already capable of delivering in a busy studio, meeting deadlines and staying on budget.

This versatility allows them to take on diverse projects that challenge them creatively and keeps their work exciting.

With this in mind, they are looking for someone who is able to be in the office Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

Your primary objective will be to develop impactful designs that effectively represent and promote our clients products but more specifically:
Act as design guardian for clients' brands ensuring colour, type and visual equities follow brand standards

Provide fresh thinking, strong ideas and a high level of craftsmanship across all elements of design

Have a good understanding of the creative process from brief to production

Organise and maintain design files and master assets as needed

Maintain the agency's standards of creative excellence, timeliness and profitability

Support the team when managing external specialists e.g. illustrators, visualisers, photographers etc

Help to maintain an atmosphere of inspiration, collaboration and 'can do' attitude.

A desire to be part of the graphic design world and to have already shown an interest in this.

Have a passion for strong ideas, that answer clients challenges in a uniquely creative way

Take pride in crafting the finest detail

Be able to talk passionately and knowledgeably about the work

A designer who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and clients and is able to take direction

Hold a degree in graphic design or similar and be aware of key Adobe software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects)

Have a passion to learn how to create animation for online ads using (Adobe After Effects).

This is an in-office role due to training and team work needs.
