Position Role:


The successful individual will be responsible for in their daily duties to assist the members of the Grounds Team maintain to a high standard the public open space areas of the Elsea Park development in Bourne.


Specific Duties:

Mowing of recreational areas and verges using ride on mowers and pedestrian mowers

Strimming

Weeding using chemical and manual methods

Hedge trimming / planting

Maintenance of Trust owned fences and boundaries

Emptying of street bins

Ditch clearance

General maintenance tasks

Maintenance of perennial borders

Maintenance of Trust owned paths

Essential Attributes:


We are looking for a person who is ,dependable, trustworthy, and attentive, whilst being prepared to work flexibly according to the needs of the business and prevailing weather conditions.


Beneficial Attributes:

A PA1 and 6 Spray certificate.

Landscaping / Garden Design skills

DIY Skills

Understanding of the workings of mechanically operated machinery

Working Hours:


Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm to include a 30-minute unpaid break with some flexibility for adverse weather conditions etc.

Holidays will be pro-rata based on 26 days per year not including bank holidays.

Salary:
£22,672.00 per year
