Legislation within the field of occupational health is constantly developing and the medico-legal and ethical implications are often sophisticated.

It is crucial to the business that proactive measures are undertaken to improve the health of all employees and to reduce the effect of ill-health and disability and offering administrative support to the UK wide function.

What will this role achieve?


This role will ensure the effective and efficient administration of the Occupational Health & Wellbeing's (OHW) health surveillance and medicals programme.

The role holder will report directly to the Clinical Performance & Development Manager and will work closely with the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Team, UK, HR & HRSC, the Compliance Team and line managers to ensure that health surveillance and screening programs are maintained, and standards are met.

This role will also support the wider OHW Team in delivering the service objectives.

  • The role is fulltime, working on a hybrid basis of 3 days onsite at our Binns Road, Liverpool site and 2 days remote. Fulltime onsite is also possible if preferred._


What will be your key deliverables?- Run reports from the OHW IT system Cority to understand which employees require appointments.- Liaise with the employee, line manager and clinical team to book the appointments into the clinician's diaries.- Provide reporting data to the CPD Manager, the wider OHW team and the site management teams with information and recommendations for appropriate action planning.- Maintain occupational health records via the OHS management system.- Ensure compliance with pladis OHW Service standards, policies and procedures.- Work with the OHW clinical governance team to ensure the day to day management of the OHS software system.- Support the OHW Clinical Governance team to provide effective administrative support maintaining confidentiality at all times in line with data protection and other relevant legislation.- To handle monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports and statistics as requested.- Provide absence cover for the OHW team administrator and undertake other administration tasks as required.

Essential- Organised- Competent IT skills- Good user of the Microsoft Office suite particularly Sharepoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.- Good decision making and problem-solving skills.

- Good Verbal & Non-Verbal communication skills
