Mobile Engineer - Pump & Water Industry

Are you a skilled Engineer with experience in pump & treatment systems? Alecto Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Engineer to conduct mechanical installations for customers nationwide.

Our client provides competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and limited weekend shifts for dedicated Engineers.

Role Profile:

  • Install water & sewage treatment equipment across the UK, involving extensive travel.
  • Service ejector and pumping stations at various sites.
  • Conduct mechanical fault finding and offer solutions.
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed.
  • Keep work areas clean and safe.
  • Collaborate with clients to maintain project schedules.
  • Supervise and support other engineers.
  • Drive company vehicles for part deliveries.
  • Complete timesheets and reports accurately.
  • Provide guidance to colleagues on equipment maintenance.
  • Work with sewage & clean water in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Assist with emergency breakdowns as needed.

Desired Profile:

  • 3+ years experience in pump installation, service, or repair.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Proficient in following instructions and writing detailed reports.
  • Familiarity with mechanical work and technical drawings.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Capable of delegating and supervising tasks.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to travel.
  • CSCS or equivalent card required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid UK Driving licence.
  • Prepared to undergo security checks.
  • Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
  • Confined space training necessary.
  • First aid certification beneficial.
