A company based in North West London is currently seeking a Buyer with experience in a buying role to join their team. The company specializes in projects within the Healthcare, Heritage, Refurbishment, Education, Residential, and Commercial sectors.

In this role, you will be responsible for placing purchase orders, obtaining quotes, liaising with suppliers, and managing accounts. The ideal candidate will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties:

  • Placing purchase orders for materials and plant
  • Purchasing indirect goods consumables, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost
  • Obtaining quotes, sending out enquiries, and analyzing quotations
  • Advising Surveyors on costs for budgetary and tender purposes
  • Approaching, setting up, and managing accounts
  • Liaising with suppliers
