We are supporting them with appointing a new Senior Technical Assistant to join their team on site in Bracknell.

Location:
Bracknell, Berkshire

Type:
Permanent, Office based

Salary is £30 - £35,000 per annum + corporate benefits
(company pension, life assurance, compassionate leave, bounty scheme, incentive policy etc.)

Main duties:

  • Helping in the continued conformity with the requirements contained in ISO 9001 (BSI) and ISO17025 (UKAS) through procedures defined within the Quality Manual.
  • The dealing with, analysis of and maintenance, in conjunction with the Quality Manager, of customer complaints & corrective actions to ensure their satisfactory outcome and also to stop their reoccurrence
  • The review & processing of customer calibration contracts from receipt through to delivery using bespoke software systems.
  • The processing of goods sent for repair or calibration with thirdparty laboratories
  • Provide support to the hire and sales teams
  • Perform and/or organise preventative and corrective maintenance/calibrations of test apparatus and peripheral equipment
  • The development of, implementation of and ensuring the continued compliance of test/calibration methodologies
  • The analysis and reporting of test data, using mathematical formulas/spreadsheets
Skills & Knowledge

  • Quality systems experience to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of proprietary Microsoft software packages specifically Excel and Word
  • Methodical with practical ability and approach to construction activities
  • Good presentation and customer skills
