**Finance Officer

  • 6months(Maternity Cover)
- £16per hour**This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to support the operations of the department, under a maternity cover contract.

The role

  • Processing of Supplier invoices using the PO System for the College and subsidiary companies accurately and in accordance with the supplier payment terms
  • Chasing of unauthorised invoices in a timely manner
  • Organising emergency payments as required ensuring accuracy of transactions
  • Being the first point of contact in respect of all purchase ledger queries
  • Monthly reconciliation of all supplier accounts against statements
  • Accurate processing of cashbook payments and receipts
  • Preparation and posting of monthly, quarterly and annual journals as required
  • Processing of all employee expenses in accordance with the Foundations expense policy
  • Assisting with the online payment platform by processing queries
  • Continual personal development of financial legislation and statutory requirements.
  • To support the Senior Finance Officer as required
