Veritas are working with a Young offenders prisonbased in Hounslow. They cater for ages 15-18** and support young people with a range of special needs, many of the students have social, emotional, and learning difficulties.
The school are looking for committed
TA/LSA's to join their team on a
temp to permanent basis.

The school are looking for staff that can commit long term.

An individual with
previous SEMH experience is desirable or someone that has previously worked at a challenging school. The role will involve teaching small groups of students under the instruction of the class teacher and working1:1 with key students.

This can be a very
challenging environment and will require resilience and strong behaviour management skills, previous experience working as a primary TA is also essential.

Responsibilities will include monitoring behaviour, helping to developlearning, social and communication skills and providing feedback to SLT.

Key skills and experience needed:

  • Previous support work within a school or other child related experience
  • Professional manor, committed and resilient
  • Enthusiastic and friendly approach
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a good sense of humour
