Job Description
What your new role will entail;

Our thriving, multidisciplinary Water Engineering team in Scotland is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team within our Glasgow office.

The teams are delivering an exciting portfolio of water programmes and projects through long term frameworks with key clients including major UK water companies (Thames Water, Wessex Water, Welsh Water, Severn Trent Water, and Scottish Water locally), contractors and international projects.

This role represents a great opportunity to develop your career as a technical expert delivering solutions on a diverse range of projects that meet the technical challenges of today and tomorrow.


Key responsibilities of this position include:

Electrical and ICA Design:
Undertake the design and review of electrical and ICA l elements in wastewater and water infrastructure/ treatment projects, such as chemical dosing, pumping stations and sludge treatment units, from conception to handover

Quality:
Produce and review client deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures

Project Management:
Assist in the preparation and management of bids using internal systems and operations

Mentor:
Delegate tasks, direct and oversee the work of others and act as a technical mentor to more junior staff
Being part of the team;

Work closely with civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineers to deliver a variety of interesting small and large projects from concept to detailed design.

Qualifications
Here's what we will need from you;
Proven experience in the design of water and wastewater engineering deliverables with multi-disciplinary knowledge, ideally including treatment schemes

Experience of managing projects, delegating tasks and technical mentoring

BEng or MEng in a related engineering field with experience in water and wastewater treatment

Chartered (or near Chartered) Member of a relevant Professional Institution
