Permanent - 18 hours per week

Formulate and implement nursing care plans ensuring that quality person centred care is delivered in line with associated policy
Dispense and administer medication in accordance with prescriptions, complying at all times with NMC guidelines and organisation policy
Act as clinical expert and advise, guide, and inform colleagues on clinical issues associated with the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of care
Maintain clinical practice through regular clinical updates. Ensure that their own practice reflects current clinical knowledge and evidence demonstrating a high level of skill in care for all MHA support plans and associated policies

About the Home
Torrwood is a purpose-built care home for 82 people with residential, dementia and nursing care needs.
With countryside surroundings and within close proximity to the pretty cathedral city of Wells, we offer long term and respite care in safe, warm and welcoming surroundings.

About the home
Torrwood has places for up to 82 people, all rooms are private and en suite, some with shower facilities. It has recently had a £130,000 refurbishment. We understand that personal tastes and needs vary, so we encourage residents to personalise their rooms.
We also have one room that can accommodate a couple, which means that a couple who share different care needs can remain together at Torrwood.
