As part of our dedication to excellence, we are seeking a Head Housekeeper to oversee our housekeeping operations and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the housekeeping team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and procedures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation are met.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and professional development.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess cleanliness levels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address housekeepingrelated issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with facility management to develop and implement initiatives to enhance the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the facility.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in housekeeping or environmental services, preferably in a healthcare or longterm care setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
  • Understanding of infection control principles and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
