St Peter and St Paul Church of England Primary School is at heart of a new community.


We are seeking to appoint support staff who will bring enthusiasm and a commitment to reaching the highest standards of achievement underpinned by our strong Christian ethos.

We are currently looking for a class Teaching Assistant to join our team in September 2023.

Please note that over time you will be expected to work with all age ranges.

You will be:

  • Supporting groups or individuals under the guidance of the teacher
  • Supervising children and leading play at playtimes and lunchtimes, as part of your role
  • Given support and guidance in welfare and learning
  • Flexible and open to change; the specific duties of the post may change as the school develops
  • Involved in general administration work
  • Experienced in positive behaviour management techniques
  • Experienced at working with children with special educational needs
  • Able to manage all situations with positivity, calmness and unfailing love
