Syndicate 1183 underwrites a number of classes of business including war and terrorism, energy, marine, financial lines, cyber, transport, political risk, crisis management, kidnap & ransom, contingency, property and treaty reinsurance.

Ensure complete, accurate and timely corporate reporting, including Talbot consolidation & Group reporting to AIG, corporate entity reporting, UK and overseas statutory reporting and regulatory reporting to Lloyds and other regulators

Ensure efficient and effective accounting processes and controls

Intercompany reconciliations for service level agreements

Support interim and year-end SOX requirements

Ensure complete, accurate and timely broker financial reviews

Keep up-to-date with changes in new financial reporting standards/disclosures and production of associated accounting judgement papers

Support complete, accurate and timely tax submissions – this includes corporate tax returns for UK and overseas, Lloyds related submissions, Singapore GST, tax certificates and SAO documentation

Participate in ad hoc projects, where necessary.

Good knowledge of financial process and controls
