Senior Analytical Chemist - Berkshire
Our client is looking for a Senior Analytical Chemist to join their team in the Berkshire region.

Your role would be to act as a team leader in the analytical and train more junior members of staff in the laboratory.

The role will also include managing complexprojects in pharmaceutical analysis.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Operating analytical equipment such as HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS and IR Spectroscopy. This will include method development and method validation
  • Working strictly under GMP regulations and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Training junior members of staff in the use of analytical equipment and general laboratory housekeeping
  • Independently conducting studies and presenting data to clients
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • At least 2 years of experience in an industrial analytical laboratory compliant (preferably compliant with GMP)
  • A minimum BSc in chemistry or a similar scientific background
  • Extensive experience with chromatographic analytical equipment (HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS)
  • Experience training other scientists in an analytical laboratory
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Full right to work within the UK
