Earthstream are recruiting a Mechanical Fitter to join our client on a long-term contract basis working for a leading automotive manufacturer.

As a mechanical fitter you will be responsible for installing and maintaining manufacturing equipment within an automotive production line working with conveyors, gantry, robots, overhead cranes etc.

Location: Germany for the first 3 - 6 months, the role will then move to Wolverhampton for the ongoing contract

What you will bring to the company:

  1. Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering
  2. Ability to read mechanical drawings
  3. Experience using a range of tools and engineering techniques to install and maintain mechanical plant machinery and equipment to operational standards.
  4. Experience using precision measuring instruments to check parts for accuracy and fit.
  5. Happy to work in Germany for the initial 3-month period
